Prof. Wagner hat in Augsburg und Edinburgh studiert und in München promoviert. Seit 2011 ist er Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Empirisches Software Engineering an der Universität Stuttgart. Seine Schwerpunkte sind dabei Software-Qualität, Requirements Engineering, Safety/Security/Privacy Engineering, kontinuierliche und agile Entwicklung und Software Engineering für Künstliche Intelligenz.
John Thomas from MIT reported on his experiences on applying STPA to more modern automotive systems. Interestingly, they found a lot of influence of the human, and he detailed a bit the process model and the human controller part of the analysis.
